Q:  Why should I join FBLA?

Not only will FBLA help build your resume, but it will provide you with countless opportunities to improve your business and leadership skills and network with others.  We have fun, engaging events designed to introduce students to the business world.

Q:  How do I join Colusa FBLA?

Turn in your membership dues to Mrs. Meyers before the November 20 deadline.  Membership costs only $15 for the year, which supports CAFBLA scholarships and local meetings, events and socials.

Q:  I'm a senior.  Is it too late to join?

No!  It's never too late to join FBLA.  However, if you want to compete, you must turn in your dues before the membership deadline.

Q:  Do I have to pay for conferences?

Unfortunately, FBLA Conferences tend to be a bit pricey.  Be sure to take advantage of chapter fundraisers throughout the year.  Your profits will go directly to your FBLA account to help cover the costs of attending conferences and other activities.

Q:  Do I have to dress up?

Dress code at all FBLA conferences is professional business attire.  Be sure to purchase an FBLA t-shirt for traveling to/from conferences and to wear around campus!

Q:  What if I'm not in a business class this year?

California Department of Education does require FBLA members to have been enrolled in a business class taught by a CTE credentialed teacher in order to join.  If you have taken (or are currently enrolled in) any of Ms. Burg's classes, you are all set!
